ABOUT DEBORA BLOOM

Before establishing her own firm in 1986, Debora held human resource positions at Wang Laboratories and Digital Equipment Corporation. Prior to that she was a department head in hospitals and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Colombia. Her later work in many Latin American countries as well as in Nigeria, Hong Kong, and Belgium shaped the international perspective and Spanish language fluency she brings to her projects. Ms. Bloom held management faculty positions at several colleges including the University of Massachusetts, Northeastern University, and Lesley University. She also taught in the anti-discrimination trainer certification program offered by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD). Debora is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), serves as co-chair of the Diversity Committee of the New England Human Resources Association (NEHRA) and has been active in the American Society for Training and Development. Debora holds an M.A. from New York University and completed doctoral studies in organizational development at Harvard and MIT. |
